| | Description | When high-school junior Ashley Salazar learned she was pregnant, she immediately started a blog to document the difficult, life-altering experience. Little did she know how life-altering it would actually be. Later, she applied online to be considered for the cast of MTV’s hit show 16 & Pregnant. The show responded quickly and her story will be told as the season 2 finale in a special 90-minute episode aired in December 2010. Her memoir takes the viewer further back and further forward, and chronicles the tortured indecision she faces as she decides whether its best for her baby to give her up for adoption or take the dramatic step toward motherhood. | |

Full of Heart Aug 17, 2012
By Artgirl2490 This book was a lot better than Farrah's book. It actually made sense. This girl can write pretty well for someone her age. I found it heartwarming and full of courage. I would highly recommend this book!

Better than Farrah's Book! Sep 27, 2012
By Keila Quintana This book takes you on Ashley's emotional journey. It makes you sad and happy for her and also makes you understand how much she actually loved her daughter. As a mother of a almost 2 year old, i cant ever imagine missing a moment with her but I also was not 17 when I had her. I think as people we only see a young girl who became a mother, a very confused one at that but does not mean she didnt feel the love and pain of a mother who is 25 or 30. Unlike Farrah's self centered book, Ashley makes you want to cheer her on and know more about her. You could tell that she wanted Callie to read this story one day with pride for her mother.. Best of luck to this wonderful family!
