HIM is by far the best band there is. Dark light is a sensual item for any fan like me. HIM are the greatest band since i can remember. the lyrics to all HIM songs actually have a meaning, if you listen to the lyrics and Ville's amazing vocals you will be captivated in his loving, strong hearted and Affectionate voice. He takes my breath away when he starts singing. Dark Light is by far the best ALBUM. but i like a mix of there songs like Right Here In My Arms, Your sweet 666 and Deep In Shadows Brilliant Highlights. the best songs on this album are Wings Of A Butterfly, Killing Loneliness, Dark Light and Drunk On Shadows. But all of there songs are... th-the best there is no words that can describe how fantastic this band is. I am sooooo hoping that some time, well when ever they could come to Perth coz there is no way in hell that my Mum and Dad will let me go to the other side of Australia just to let me see the greatest band in the world witch is HIM. I can only hope..... BUY THIS ALBUM IT IS THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!

I have heard all there albums and out of all there albums "Dark Light" is there best album yet to have come out.

Dark Light is the best C-d i think H.I.M ever made...i love their song " Wings of a Butterfly" that is the best song i ever heard....H.I.M is the best

i never liked rock, i only listened to rap but after i saw the "wings of a butterfly" video it changed me , i bought their cd and now i only listen to rock

cant stop listening
i've heard and heard of this band for like the longest time....i was in hot topic and i really liked their backpack....but i hate being called a poser....so i got the cd and i put it on my ipod and for the last week i cant put it down i have just this cd on repeat and it's all i listen to anymore....i would totally buy more of their murchendise just to promote their greatness!!!! totally rock on!!

I liked it...alot.
I was a little skeptical about listening to HIM due to having heard about them from Bam. Alot of HIM fans do not like the fact that much of HIM's popularity came from Bam and his use of the Heartagram symbol. I had heard of the band before Viva la Bam, but didn't pay much attention to them untill I saw how Margera reacted to their music. I went to heartagram.com and listened to the few songs they have playing and instantly fell in love with Ville's vocals and the band's unique sound. The lyrics grip your heart and it feels like they were written just for you. The music is hypnotizing and keeps you yearning for more. I love how anyone can feel comfortable listening to them wether they are country bumpkins or ghetto fabulous. You can dance to them, cry to them, romance to them, rant and rave to them, anything you want to this music. It's a favorite among many and this band is going to get bigger than they ever dreamed.

F'in HOTT
i didnt really like rock music especially Goth or Death Metal, but after i listened to their album Love Songs Vol 666. i fell in love with their music

Dark Light
I must say that this CD is more contemporary than any other H.I.M. CD I have. Razorblade Romance and Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights are definitely different than this one. I'm a big H.I.M. fan so you won't hear any bash H.I.M. stuff from me. They're one of the best new bands that have come along. Their success across the U.S. is crazy being that they are from Finland. But hey, metal bands from other countries do great (most of the time) in the U.S. I'm definitely a fan of the love metal genre and when I start my music career it will be that genre that I'd sing.

Love it, but not their best work.
I aboslutely hate the fact that HIM are only popular mostly in America because of Bam. Dark Light is their lighter work, yet the lyrics never fail to amaze me. The music is more about the keyboards and effects in this album. Perhaps if you listen to Greatest LoveSongs Volume 666. That is their best work, along with Deep Shadows and Brillant Highlights. I adore this CD, please, dont get me wrong. But I feel that with HIM, more people are focusing of Ville's face these days. I hope their next album venus Doom, does what Ville says it will, "blow the speakers off you". I seen them perform Dead Lovers Lane in Glasgow I was crying. |
