Great record. Eclectic blend with amazing musicians.
Forty Marshas is a project put together by Goo Goo Dolls's drummer Mike Malinin. This cd features a whole mess o' awesome musicians such as Death By Stereo's Efrem Schulz and Green Day touring musician Jason Freese. The cd plays like a mix-tape, with everything from Ambient tracks to jazz to Death Metal. Stand-out tracks include "Think Big", "Sold Me Out" (sang by an awesome female singer by the name of Sarah Meech), and the closing instrumental "Another Time." One of the coolest records of the year. It's a shame it hasn't gotten more attention yet. But hopefully that will change. Go Marshas!! |
