Maroon 5: Midnight Miles is a remarkable visual journey across the landscape of rock and roll. When photographer Christopher Wray-McCann climbed on the tour bus with the band in 2003, they were playing small clubs and hoping their first single would break. When he stumbled off that same bus two and a half years later, they were selling out arenas, and their album, Songs about Jane, had gone multi-platinum. Wray-McCann emerged with over fifteen thousand photos, notebooks filled with quotes by the band and various members of the touring crew, and an incredible document of a band transitioning from struggling artist status to superstardom.
From New York to Tokyo, the Viper Room the the Grammy's, Maroon 5's road has been long, tough, and wonderful. Packed with hundreds of photos, and including unique personal pieces from each member of the band exploring vicissitudes of the life on the road, Maroon 5: Midnight Miles is an intimate portrait of a band as it stakes it's claim to a piece of rock and roll glory.
