MTV's "The Hills" is proof that MUSIC Television has become "reality" television. No longer showing the latest videos of Madonna, The Police, Bonnie Tyler and Will Smith, it's now devoted to vapid wannabe celebrities and their daily dramas. Thanks to this vapid show, everyone knows who Lauren Conrad, Audrina, and their equally empty-headed friends are. They're not famous for being actors or singers--but being spoiled rich brats.
"Lessons in Love" is a slim little tome claiming to divulge romantic secrets from the show. There are dumb little quizzes, and "which girl are you the most like?" They give tips on wooing men (be hygienic, get flowers,etc) Ironic, yes, that one of the "actresses" recently tied the knot in swine flu-ridden Mexico and her divorce is already being predicted.
"Lessons in Love" causes unintentional laughter. Don't expect to learn anything.
